Channellock
Five generations of American-made pliers, wrenches, and hand tools since 1886.
The Story
Channellock has been a family-owned tool manufacturer for five generations, operating from the same Meadville, Pennsylvania facility since 1886. Their tongue-and-groove pliers became so iconic that the brand name became synonymous with the tool type itself. Despite enormous pressure to move manufacturing overseas, the DeArment family has kept every step of production in Pennsylvania.
